S4 will be divided between RNJR's journey to bring the ones behind the attack on Beacon to justice, and BWY's character development. While Ruby tries to track down Cinder's team, Blake will train in the hopes of being able to off Adam, Yang will learn to control herself in battle with her father, and Weiss will learn to stand up to her father while also dealing with the heated political climate of Remnant. The finale will take place right after all of their arcs are completed and the girls regain their confidence, reforming RWBY in order to confront Cinder.

I'm betting on this too. Maybe they form pairs at first, preferably with Yang (sporting a nifty new Robot arm) and Blake teaming up again and actually managing to defeat Adam, thanks in no small part to Blake's new confidence in battle and Yang's ability to use her Semblance without losing herself to her anger. Perhaps RNJR will trace Cinder to Atlas, so Ruby can join up with Weiss, who's just either broken away from her father or convinced him of his shortcomings (or both). When Ruby debriefs Weiss on the situation, Winter can pull some strings to get all of our favorites from Beacon together to take on Cinder, perhaps even storm Salem's fortress.
While Salem will not be fully defeated next volume (maybe dealt a major blow at least, but he escapes to regroup), Cinder will and they might even rescue Ozpin. The final nail in Cinder's coffin will be Emerald pulling a heel face turn, but the Beacon crew won't accept her into their ranks, leading to a nice arc for her in Volume 5 where she basically winds up right back where she started before she met Cinder. (Bonus points if Atlas outs Cinder's group as the ones behind the attack and she becomes a wanted woman.)
Unfortunately, I can only see Cinder being killed off, or at least captured and being forced into an aura transfer pod in order to take away her maiden powers, which will at least turn her into a vegetable. Either way, she's not making it to Volume 5 as a Maiden.

Everything for my prediction remains in tact, but the finale is the Beacon crew all rejoining in Beacon in order to clear the city of its Grimm and reclaim the tower so they can restore communications throughout the kingdom.
At the top of the tower they realize that the one attracting Grimm isn't the dragon, but a frozen and pissed off Cinder. Upon seeing Ruby, she breaks free in her sheer rage, which throws the Grimm into a frenzy, leading to an epic final battle between Ruby (who may or may not have learned to use her silver eyes and/or Maiden powers at this point) to defeat her.
Once communications is restored, the citizens of Vale can confirm that Atlas was not behind the attack. The newfound calm and hope amongst the people of Remnant basically undoes everything Cinder and Salem achieved in the Volume 3 finale. Salem can either take a step back for other arc villains to step up to the plate, or go Rita Repulsa and be the ones behind every major villain from that point onwards, or volume 4 will focus on defeating her.

I'm guessing that Cinder was raised under the impression that she would become the next Fall Maiden, that it was her destiny, but something went wrong and the powers went to Amber instead. Maybe Amber is her stepsister, since Cinderella. My guess is that her mother was the previous Fall Maiden, and that the powers had remained within the family for a number of generations, hence why her name is Cinder Fall. While the powers aren't hereditary, it's only natural to think of a loved one when you pass on, hence why many mothers in the Fall family would think of the next female of kin when dying. Well, Cinder's mother was the first exception, so Amber got the powers even though Cinder trained all her life for them (hence why she's so instantly proficient at using them.) Everyone who was with her for her entire life, expecting her to be the next Maiden, drops her like a hot potato and goes straight to Amber. Feeling betrayed and cheated out of her destiny, Salem comes along and convinces Cinder of her worldview.

Pyrrha died because of her hubris, because she tried to claim a power that didn't belong to her. It was her destiny.
Cinder will die for that reason as well. I think when Pyrrha asked if Cinder believed in destiny, she was hinting at the fact that Cinder is doomed because she's destined to make the same mistake (although, obviously, Pyrrha did it out of the goodness of her heart).

Nah, volume 4 is going to be 4 things:
* RNJR tracking down Cinder and her allies
* Blake stealthily crippling the White Fang and training so she can kill Adam, only for her to learn that she's still just running away, this time from her friends
* Weiss learning to stand up to her father and trying to convince the world that Atlas wasn't behind the assault on Vale
* Yang learning to control her new robot arm and not lose herself in battle
Once BWY's arcs are complete, RWBY will reform before the volume 4 finale, and will be together for the final battle.

It's not like there is a surefire way to bring people back, but if someone dies the fandom will forever be at the edge of their seats wanting them to come back and will never be able to let go.

When Pyrrhas response was "Do you believe in destiny", I saw that as her essentially calling Cinder out on her bullshit, because they both knew the power doesn't truly belong to Cinder.
Cinder giving the look of annoyance and admitting that she does believe in destiny is her showing she knows the power doesn't belong to her either, and she'll eventually have to face the true heir to the Fall Maiden Powers.
