I believe that Blake is doing the right thing even if people hate her for it. None of her friends understand how ruthless Adam is. Not even Yang despite witnessing it firsthand. She will probably get her weapon upgrade while out doing whatever is she's doing.
My theory is that she knows Raven and is currently searching for her. Blake is quick to run from her problems but I don't think she's running from them this time. I think she's searching for a means to get stronger so she can better protect her friends. There's also a huge amount of guilt for what happened to Yang.
Also accusing her of abandoning everyone is not really true. Weiss got snatched up by her father and Qrow and Taiyang took Yang and Ruby back to Patch. Even if Blake had stayed she would have still been alone most likely seeing as she has no home to return to.
She probably would have stayed with Ruby and Yang but she probably felt Adam would come for her there.

So I know some people are upset about Pyrrha's death because it's super tragic. But that's the point, I think, that was Greek Tragedy as fuck. We all saw that a mile away.
Pyrrha's hubris destroyed her - immediately enabling Cinder's hubris to unmake her own plans (kinda). At the same time she accepted her "fate" - she knew all odds she would die on that tower, but she also knew that was where she was supposed to be. Unlike several other characters this episode who flee or hide from destiny, Pyrrha (literally) rose to meet it. I'm not sure what Cinder thought she meant when she said "Yes", but I'm pretty sure she didn't get what Pyrrha was asking when she said "Do you believe in Destiny?".
And if you asked Pyrrha Nikos "how do you want to die?", "I want to show that smug bitch Cinder my pimp hand even if it kills me" was clearly high on the list.
Pyrrha, you were like a flame - brilliant if short lived. And maybe a little of that candle has spread. You will be in good company when you find the Elysian Fields. If you see whoever is in charge of that sort of thing, tell 'em to hold a spot for Cinder down in the pit.
