>Nine Inch Nails
Literally Coldsteel-tier.
>>79808280
It's not even a NIN song, you pleb.
>>79808280
I bet you couldn't afford NIN tickets, bud
Batman Forever and GOTG.
>>79806030
Cherry Bomb was its big misfire.
I even like that subgenre but dear fuck that was a dumb as shit song.
>>79808234
My fucking nigger.
This and only this is the correct answer.
Technically /co/unts.
>all that late 90s to early 00s music
>that fucking Angela Anaconda, though
OCEAN MAN
>>79808915
I really wish more people on /co/ had watched this movie. It looks so much better than most things that are rotoscoped, the soundtrack is amazing, and the story is pretty good.
>>79805882
COME
>>79809183
I'll give it a watch after I finish Misfits. It loks cool
>>79809183
I've seen that movie.
>>79809225
Cool. I thought the first 20 minutes or so of the movie wasn't great the first time I watched it but the second time I watched it I enjoyed the whole movie.
Just know going into watching it that it's about four generations of Americans, the first of which starts with a kid who flees with his mother to America during a war around 1900. It has so many famous songs in it that I was shocked they were able to get them considering the budget.
>>79805923
A shame these Blockbuster Hollywood movies X Big music labels cross-promotions are an outdated thing because of Shazam and the internet in general, we'll never get music videos with movie scenes ever again.

The monstars would have made warner great again if they won
>>79806030
This is seriously a meme soundtrack.

Even Batman and Robin got a nice soundtrack
>>79806030
Go fuck yourself you tasteless fuck.
>>79809464
There was a lot of controversy about that.
Bakshi went straight to the performers and told the record companies to fuck themselves. That piano version of Night Moves was recorded, by Seger, specifically for the movie.
Took almost 20 years to get the movie released on VHS because of all the red tape.
Most people just did what they did with Heavy Metal and recorded it off Showtime.
>>79809704
oh the irony
I know it just came out and people will think it's just recent release excitement, but Deadpool.
I unironically had just about the entire soundtrack on my playlist for years(decade+) except for that godawfully mediocre Deadpool rap.
>>79809634
>There was a time where soundtracks for Super Hero movies were un-ironically Gansta Rap songs

The guy who played Tony and Pete gave a hell of a performance. I still hear his beatnik ramblings in my head from time to time. This is my favorite Bakshi movie, and my second favorite movie, period.
>>79810015
I thought they sounded similar but I didn't realize they were the same guy. He definitely was the best voice actor in the movie.
And I agree, it's by far his best movie in my mind. I can't think of many animated movies I like over it, but Princess Mononoke is definitely better than it in my mind.
>>79810244
Voice, and performance. All that movement was the VA. It's tragic that nobody rotoscopes anymore. I'd take rotoscope over mocap any day of the week.

I dunno if you guys are interested but I just started watching this interview with Ron Thompson that happened a few years ago and it seems pretty cool so far.

why is it called score when you dont get any points?
>>79809752
Any DVD or Blu Ray release?
>>79805923
You know what?
I'll go as far as to say that all of the films in the Burton/Schumacher had pretty GOAT soundtracks and themes.
>Batman 'Batdance'
>Batman Returns 'Face to Face'
>Batman Forever 'Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me'
>Batman and Robin 'The End Is the Beginning Is the End'
Say what you will about the movie but Watchmen made great use of music.

Rotoscoping when done well is fantastic. When its done badly, you get the battle scenes in Bakshi's Lord of the Rings.
>>79808949
SOME BODYkidding aside... most of that era of music sucked balls and it was shit I listened to at the time
>>79808949
Holy fuck
This 2000 era flash animation.
This limp 90s remake of a good 80s tune.

can't hold a candle on any level to the original
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hWZqllm3mQ
also Kim Wilde kinda looks like she was drawn by Milo Manara
>>79808234
Fun fact, Bakshi hated that song and actually wanted to use Freebird.
>>79812353
I liked it as a teen but all the "rock" from that period aged like milk to me.

Its charming in its own cheesy way
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quCBrBj6bKI
>>79808165
As far as the soundtrack goes, I actually prefer the second one.
>>79821378
Freebird is the song that played in the credits though. Anyway, that version of Night Moves was awesome.
>>79806030
>Listening to this while playing Planetside 2
>Drive to the battle alone instead of teleporting
>Survey the barren plains feeling like a space outlaw badass
>Get to the actual fight
>Can't kill for shit
>>79823666
Too bad the way the music was used was mostly really dumb except for the obvious moment
