What are some villains you were legitimately rooting for?
Considering all of her "evil" actions before the finale were off-screen and told to us by members of the rich family who were pretty much the only people in the EK who stood to lose from re-unification, I was hoping Bryke might have planned the greatest villain twist of all time.
But alas. Still rooted for her anyway because fuck Suyin.

In the case of Gems, humans are more distant to them than trees are to us. We're actually related to trees and have roughly similar mechanics (consume, grow, expel waste, and reproduce).
Plus, from a gem perspective, humans were going to die in just a moment anyway. They live for thousands of years and we live for less than 100.

Batman frequently defends American society in it's best form, and wields Waynecorp as a power unto itself for national and global good.
Stark Industries (particularly when it's not leaning heavily on arms trading, and sometimes even then) is generally good when Tony has a good hand on the reigns and people aren't going too far.
Adrian Veidt runs his firm quite well too, and is set to usher in a better era with his goods and services.
In their best most ethical forms these companies are hugely innovative and contribute significantly.
A lot of small businesses get a good portrayal in cartoons, too.
