Pretty standard psycho betrayal issue, I think. He and Blake were super tight - if you believe him while he is fully into the White Fang's militant goals the only thing he personally wants is to give Blake his D. Since they split (and I'm sure in his mind fucking up the train job led to the situation with Cinder), things have gone uphill/downhill for him and the WF. He's getting real Bane but at the same time his minions are getting trashed pretty regularly and whoever he was gonna go back and talk to in Mistral probably ain't happy about it.
So he finally sees Blake, he's pissed. He's right when he calls her a coward, she doesn't have the guts to stand with him or stand against him. Even when pressed she's clearly too emotionally stressed to put up a decent fight. And she tries to take the moral high ground with him. So it's this vindictive sort of "okay if you think you're so much better off without me let's see what happens when I crush everything you love (that isn't me)". He'd either turn it into "I'm the only thing you have left" or "you have my permission to die" at the end - he probably doesn't know since Adam seems to only have three states, "bland", "murder" and "murderboner".This came out way longer than I intended

I'd imagine that Weiss being able to summon only the arm of the steel knight is actually quite useful. I mean if a guy like Adam's around he could probably cut it, but i imagine it makes it harder for enemies to hit him since only the arm's coming out.
