The latter mostly applies to sword fighting in full plate.
As for Jaune, since he at least knows the basics, it's actually pretty simple. There's 8 cuts (+ and X overlaid) and three thrust heights (low medium high). All you really need to is get a partner (or preferably like a dozen or so) and drill. Perform and defend against each of them a thousand of times a day for a month and you'll have a decent baseline, but keep up the practice ad infinitum. Then practice linking, offense into offense, offense into defense, defense into offense, and defense into defense. Then start sparring, slowly at first, and work up towards speed gradually, and after a few months of that you'll start to get it.
It's like learning to shoot a firearm: there's no secret to it, it's just lots of hard work and training. There's people with fancy techniques, but they're mostly just shortcuts, and good fundamentals generally trumps them.

2 episodes can be enough. Episode 11 is 17 minutes, which is pretty long. Episode 12 should be even longer if they hope to wrap up the volume somewhat.
In this episode, Ruby Vs Neo/Roman, and Adam Vs Black will be settled. I also think we will see a quick glimpse of Weiss defeating a Paladin by summoning her knight. We also know that Pyrrha will become a maiden this episode. It remains to be seen if she will fight Cinder in this episode or next Also, there's the Grimm Dragon. Can't let something big like that roam free.
Part of episode 12 could be the calm after the storm, where Cinder has either been forced to retreat, or she has left Beacon after having taken Pyrrha's powers. The White Fang have left, and the Grimm invasion has been stopped.
Somewhere in episode 11 and 12, we will have at least one, maybe two Arkos moments.

Not exactly, excuse me while I nerd out for a bit.Where I come from, the premise looks simple but a bit hard to understand. The competitors decide on a deadline (and medium), then put up their dukes by the end of it, and see which fight is more "canon". Not just by popularity, but also by artist skill and plausibility. It's a fun pasttime on DA and some other communities, and a great excuse to improve. Personally I enjoy pitting my autism against other people's in a fistfight and see who wins and how.
Please forgive me anon, Endzone, LoT and EfN were really influential back in my early internet years. It's also why I'm hoarding reference sheets even though I don't see myself drawing those characters in the forseeable future.
