Part of the problem is that they're using Cardin and Pyrrha as archetypes.
In that greentext, Cardin is the generic bruiser with the big dick and small brains. In turn, Pyrrha is the competent women who wins based on skill, not strength.
RapeAnon made the rape work because he set up her loss, as well as the anonymity of the gladiator, and still retained Pyrrha as a character.
