I just want them to finally make the 1.0 and 2.0 playsets backwards compatible. I don't like having to boot up 1.0 just to use the starter pack playset and then having no access to the character perks I've unlocked because 1.0 doesn't support them.
I really wish that they would ditch the "no crossovers" rule with the playsets, too. 3.0 is a slight improvement since Star Wars lets you play as characters from any part of the saga in any Star Wars playset (if you find the unlock tokens), but you should be able to unlock the ability to use a character in any playset once the character reaches a certain level.

The playsets are typical action adventure games, you get a few set areas where you can run around and do main missions, side missions, and challenges.
Characters have melee combat and ranged combat that depends on the character being used. Each character also has a special attack, basic combos and a finisher. There's a skill tree where you can spend points to unlock additional moves.
There's also vehicles to drive and fly, platforming, collectibles, etc.
Outside of the playsets is the toy box mode where you can create and play entire levels with whatever you want pretty much, the tools are surprisingly robust. You can also download other people's levels and play them.
