You just made me realise something. Despite Marvel fucking loving its synergy, even when its for a movie that isn't Marvel Studios (see: Apocalypse War happening at the same time as X-men: Apocalypse's release; Wolverine losing his healing factor at the same time as The Wolverine; Marvel killing the F4 at the same time that Fox killed any chance of the general public caring about them, etc.) yet they haven't done ANYTHING with Big Hero 6 since the release of the movie. No cameos, no new books, no reprints of their old stuff. They actually appeared more pre-movie than they do now. Slott had them cameo in a few issues of ASM.
I wonder if Disney won't let them because they don't want Marvel mucking around with a Disney animation.

IIRC, Marvel outright told Disney to make BH6 very different from its source material. At the end of the day, while Marvel liked the end result, what Disney came up with (essentially an alternate timeline where San Francisco took on Japanese aesthetics and culture due to less racism against Asians in the 19th century than in our world) was just too different for them to plop down in 616 (or Prime Earth, or whatever they're trying to call it now), so they labelled the movie's world as an alternate reality (even giving it a designated number), effectively discontinued the use of the 616 team so as not to confuse fans of the movie, and left it at that.
