I went to SDCC last year, and while there was no talk about Megatron showing up, the staff looked among themselves and said "no comment on that" when that question was asked instead of simply "not in the plans" as they said when Starscream was asked about.

Can you give an example of what the cons on Cybertron have done to deserve their lot? In Punishment we're told that they don't get jobs because the Autobots are the ones in higher places, thanks to winning the war. The Decepticons have to live in slums outside the new Iacon.

Plus, as we know from Beast Wars and the movie, Energon is radioactive. (And I'd say that's what was wrong with the Plasma Energy Chamber. It condensed Energon into a usable state, but produced radiation at the same time which incapacitated those around it.
And like other forms of Energon Radiation, it's harmless to organic life.

He is in the Noisemaze after all, which screams lies at him in an attempt to destabilize who he is. Maybe Mesothulas (I kind of prefer that name to Tarantulas actually. Did Megatron ever show concern for the intrinsically weak after Terminus? Was there any place for them in his vision of the post-war future?
