Iron Man consistently gets top level creative teams these days. Yeah Bendis is a shitty writer these days but he still sells. Same with Cap.Thor normally gets a top level creative team as well.

Originally the explosion just made just made Mar-Vell's DNA mesh with hers which is why Carol registered as Kree to a lot of aliens that checked hers.
Of course the whole reason for her mindwipe was so they didn't have to adress Marv or the Kree stuff anymore in her origin despite the fact that her whole costume is suppose to be Kree inspired and she uses their insignia which is the Stat of Hala (suprisingly only Bendis acknowledged this in his shit Guaedians of Knowhere story).
Was expecting more style and flair with Anka's art - but at least he'll be consistent with her appearance. These days however it appears only the fanart appears to give her personality and the editors are only interested in a blank-slate-self-insert thing with Carol.
They could have gone for a better cosplayer than Butch Hambeast for the cosplay alt. cover too.
