The costume
The web swinging sequences are visually pleasing to an extent.
Basically surface level, moment-to-moment stuff. It's still a massive piece of shit.
The action is pretty weirdly conceptualized, but the CGI itself and the detail is pretty cool and a lot better than industry standard. The suit is basically perfect, and the chemistry between Gwen Stacy and Peter is palpable. Everything else is absolute shit and goes to show that there's more to this than just ticking boxes.

Honestly this movie had so much potential that was ruined by Sony being greedy. The deleted scenes would have fixed most of its problems and if Sony hadn't meddled then we probably would have gotten a much better film and /co/ would be getting ready for ASM3 right about now.Too bad this board is now full of /tv/ autists who shit their pants and throw a fit whenever anyone dares to have an opinion.

His costume and some half-decent action scenes that could have been good in any other plot. I enjoyed the initial scene with him and Giamatti. The idea of a mechanized Rhino suit could have been cool if done slightly better.

Why did the electric powers fix his tooth gap? Why did they zoom in on it fixing his tooth gap? Why even give him such a stereotypical tooth gap if you were just going to get rid of it slightly later in the most nonsensical way?
Also it would have been cool as fuck if when he got excited or mad sometimes bolts of electricity would jump from the middle of his forehead to be reminiscent of his mask.

This, and him saving the kid from bullies in the alley. First and foremost: A hero needs to be connected to the citizens. Its that human connection that no other cape film has shown at all. The only one I can really remember is Cap winking at a kid in a museum and still that was kind of shitty.
