I am very curious to see how the reboot/revival will treat both Jack and Aku. The pair both had a very specific mix both creating amusing and threatening protagonists and antagonist. You couldn't have thought of a better foil for the other.
It'll be a tough act to follow to be sure.

I finally took the time to watch Samurai Jack and I'm halfway S3 now. Although I find the pacing through the seasons a little odd now and then, but what a great show it is nonetheless. The story, the music, the art, humor and most of all the interaction between Jack and Aku. I'm glad to hear to it will have a reboot at last. Can't imagine the dreadful wait most went through over 10 years...

Easily one of the best television villains. Everything about Aku was so goddamn brilliant. His design perfectly allowed for funny and menacing faces, his formless nature made for great visuals, and Mako's intense voice acting made him both hilarious and scary.

If Greg Baldwin is cast as Aku, I'm sure he will succeed Mako very well like he did with Iroh.
Though it's a real shame Mako couldn't have lived to see the finale for either series.

Even though his voice of Iroh was nice he failed voicing Aku in that game.
I think that guy who voiced Tai Lung in Kung Fu Panda would be a better choice.
