Fair enough. None of FOP's musical sections with Timmy have been good. If it sounds like they're phoning it in, it could be because they have been at it for so long, but if you look at Tara Strong's work in MLP there was also a stretch where her voice in Twilight wasn't showing a whole lot of energy. Not bad - but then they did have a change of guard and it could have also been that new folks at the reigns made directing harder. Maybe too many projects at once. Who knows.

Like someone in another thread said, Butch is great at world building. The show has a tonne of lore, characters and locations and that always draws me to a show. Over time the show can focus on different sets of characters without feeling different because it has a large cast. It's why I find Adventure Time to be a massive waste of potential, cast wise.

If Chloe's introduction calls for her to be a goody goody to make Timmy jealous, then she's friends with the president and everyone in school loves her. When they need a plot where she's not beloved, she's going to be as unpopular and picked on as Timmy is. And there will likely be a joke that is repeated several times over the course of the episode highlighting this.
