Don't get me wrong, American trailers and marketing can make an actually good movie look terrible, including the former two movies, but there's too much shit that can go wrong here for me to be optimistic.

Don't know if it's a full fact, but it's reportedly said that in the original drafts, Po was going to be a selfish jerk who changed ways thanks to Kung Fu. When they got Jack Black on board he complained that his character was way too much of a douchebag, so he asked them to make him nicer, thus we got the humble, insecure Po from the first movie.
There was this website that had storyboards from earlier drafts (it seems to have been taken down) and one of them did have Po being pretty mean, so it's likely true.

The panda fursuit he wears makes it kind of difficult, sure, but he still does it, because that's what kung fu is all about, confronting challenges head on and achieving excellence. But I guess that's just not something a fallen angel can appreciate.
