Fantomah is public domain then?

Looks like. She's not even a parody. This is just straight up Fantomah
>>
>>78849501
Devil's Due, apparently.
>>
>>78849299
Fletcher Hanks justice. I remember one strip where some guys were stealing lumber and they all paid with their lives.

What kind of ENORMOUS gaylord wouldn't take teenage Wonderella to pound town?
>>
This art reminds me of John Allison's very earlt work.
Also Wonderella's mother is looking really good for her age.
>>
>>78850360
Well, she is a demigod from another planet or something like that.
>>
>>78850445
Depending on what continuity they're following. No one wants to see her makin' it with the Godhead, though. That's for sure.
>>
>>78849398
Second result for a google search of "Fantomah" is the "Public Domain Super Heroes Wiki".
>>
>>78849577
What a cool superheroine.
>>
>>78850119
Warhammer is the exact opposite of sex, Momderella. Alas....
>>
>>78850119
Wonderita is perfect.
>>
Funny to think this webcomic has been around for a decade. Still pretty good.
>>
>>78849299

That's actually pretty merciful for Fantomah. I'd expect her to have him trampled and crushed into paste by a herd of rhinos.
>>
>>78850349
or at least canoodle a little. she just wanted to make out. good girl
>>
>>78850838
she reminds me of the cute blonde in When I Grow Up

This is why I hate what Didney and their endless copyright extensions have done to the public domain. I'd love to see this kind of shit happening with Batman, Mickey Mouse and like 5000 other characters that will now never be out of copyright thanks to them.
>>
>>78851741
I don't see how that's worse than being impaled... FOREVER.
>>
>>78852070
When the guy who made the Stormtrooper helmets made reproductions to pay for the medical bills of his children, Lucas slapped him with a 20 million dollar lawsuit. For selling nineteen of them for a hundred bucks a pop.

The guy fought back, and won in the UK. He can't sell them in the US, but sells them in the EU for $750 each now. Identical to the ones in the movie mind you, hence the price being so steep. He says thanks to the Force Awakens bump, he finally sold off enough to pay for the legal fees.

Meaning only now can he actually put his money towards his family.
>>
>>78850838
Yeah, she's pretty good for a mildly autistic orphan.
>>
>>78851830
>>78853893
I want to impregnate her.
>>
>>78852405

Hmm, I'd just assumed "forever" meant "and you won't do anything else because you're dead." But if he'll be living but impaled for all eternity, then yeah, that's pretty brutal.
>>
>>78853828
This is not an accurate summary of the case. You're right on the basics but it wasn't medical bills but private school fees, it was the US court's settlement that was 20 mil, he sold the first helmet for £6000 and that's what made him starting making them (in the 2000s) and he didn't exactly win in the UK, it was decided on appeal Lucasfilm had no copyright but the US judgement was still UK enforceable. His legal fees were about £700,000

IDK someone could just take him off the rhino.
>>
>90s grunge trash wonderita will never make out with modern preppy wonderita
>>
>>78854217

Oh, man. You don't even want to know what Fantomah will do to anyone who tries that.
>>
>>78854634
Porn of it when?
>>
>>78854634
How will she know? She obviously doesn't have powers of omniscience, she had to just wander across and find that dead rhino.
>>
>>78854724
The dude is already caught in her spell. Don't fuck with the spell man.
>>
>>78854724
Her good friend Stardust the Super Wizard does have omniscience though.
>>
>>78855816
I headcanon Stardust the Super Wizard as the actual literal god of our universe.
>>
>>78849577
yep. She doesn't stop people from committing crimes. She watches as they commit them and then punishes them afterwards.
>>
Yes, Fantomah is the best shit ever.

No dicking around, no MUH NON-INVLOVEMENT WITH ACTUAL EVENTS THAT COULD HAPPEN IRL, no MUH ETHICS IN TERRORISM just straight up: "You mess with my shit, I kill you and put your corpse on display for the readers."

>>78856357
Hey, in pretty much all cases, those fellas knew that they were comitting a crime. They just figured that Fantomah would not get them.
>>
>>78856357
She's a literal reminder of your own mortality, why would she prevent anything.

>do bad thing that could cause bad things to happen to you
>woman appears and transforms into a skeleton to remind you you everything will die, and then punishes you
>>
>>78856453
>>78856434
she, like stardust, is a representation of the author's desire to hurt people.
He was an angry drunkard who worked as a painter and only did comics as a way to cash quick bucks.
He didn't put much effort in the art or story. I'm pretty sure the "plot" were just an excuse to enact the punishments he had fantasized about when getting drunk.
If you read it the faces of the gangsters and poachers are strangely detailed and with distinguishing individual features. I think those were the faces of people who had crossed him and the punishments are what he wished he could do to them.
