This comic has been more in-character for Harley than she has ever been in non-TAS based comics.
She's a ditzy, romantic clown, not a psychopath murderer. If they're keeping that characterization, it's important to move her away from the Joker, who IS a psychopath murderer.
And if you're gonna have her on her own, it's a good progression to have her resent the Joker who she can no longer have.
I'd rather her be "DC's Deadpool" than just "poor man's Joker"
