Similar is not stolen.
Looking at it, they have similarities but if you look long and hard enough you can find that with just about anything anymore. It is not a streight copy and if you think it is you should get your eyes checked, it also heavily modified if it is an edit. Also the files at the top are meshes, they can look very similar, and the model bits are obviously not the same. Generic Spiky hair is not something exclusive to MMD. Buckled boots are also not exclusive to MMD, now. Hell do you have any evidence they were stolen? They could have seen these and remade them as their own take which is where the stark differences come from.
So saying 'they stole it' without any real evidence to back it up makes you look like you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about.

I'm still holding out for Yang blasts the police/guards and escapes. Agreed it definitely doesn't look good. So far RT has had good relations with people who left the company who were also doing VA work for them (Kara, Ray etc). About the only exception was the guy who originally voiced Mercury.
Still Shane worked really closely with Monty for a long time, I would like to think he wouldn't want to make production of RWBY more difficulty by forcing RT to find another VA to replace his wife.
