Let's not.

These are the guys Nassir killed, right? Meaning the guy they're investigating wasn't killed by him?

Do you think Tom King specified how much tit was to be shown on that panel? I am asking for science and because that could be a new fetish to fap to.

Hope you enjoyed.
>>
>>78732141
why do I get a feeling that this is taken from Tom King's personal experience
>>
>>78732368
'domestic animal licking human blood off its nose' is a somewhat common spoopy bit
>>
>>78732368
It's probably from people he knows. I seriously doubt a CIA analyst was ever out of the Emerald City without a large armed escort.
>>
>>78732368
I thought Tom worked in an office in DC? Was he like a Stan Smith/Bill Wilson CIA officer?

>CB: Cats?

>Gerads: There’s a lot of cats in the book and it’s been extremely fun to draw them. I am a fan of crazy cats. Tom has a great story for why there are cats in the book.

>CB: Would you mind telling the story?

>King: Yeah, it’s silly. One of my memories from Iraq is that there were a lot of cats, like little cute cats, around. Someone told me a story that the reason they are around is because there used to be rats everywhere and they couldn’t figure it out. Finally they brought cats in to solve the problem. I don’t know if that is a hundred percent true, but that was the story I was told.

>CB: It’s a good story.

>King: And it creates good symbolism for what that conflict was about. Sort of like we brought in these cats and it seems like it is something innocent and good and kind, but it is actually something bloody and dark about it. So it’s a good little symbol.

According to him he served in the CIA after 9/11. So likely based on his skill set he was either some sort of analyst/interpreter or a PR man of some sort.
>>
>>78732132
If you need a new fetish just go read Vision and get the phasing through clothes fetish like everyone else.

>new

Ha, jokes on you.

So what's the deal here? Nassir is firing at the couch, in case there was a perpetrator hiding under there, while Chris investigates the back room? Is that it?
>>
>>78734549
I didn't understand this either. What does he have against the cat?
>>
>>78735915
they're seen as pests
>>
>>78736042
So was Nassir really just trying to kill the cat, or was he just pretending in case the killer was still in the house?
>>
>>78735915
They ate a people, that's a no go like eating a goat after you fuck it.
>>
>>78736572
I don't get this either. Unless cats are really that hated in Iraq.
>>
It saddens me how little attention this gets compared to his other stuff...
>>
>>78740161
>not cape
>not action
it's really not hard to see why
>>
>>78740161
At least it gets a little more attention than the other Vertigo books
>>
>>78740161
I think anything political is usually connoted as boring. This book is great and I really want to know more about Saffiya.
>>
>>78740161
>creator-owned
>not Image
>>
>>78740231
What else is good at Vertigo these days?
>>
>>78740244
>caring more about the logo of the publisher than the content of a comic
>sadly this is a practice people are proud of
>>
>>78740161
He's got to ditch DC/Vertigo as soon as possible.
>>
>>78740274
Red Thorn, Twilight Children, Jacked and Unfollow are pretty great.

I also enjoy Clean Room and Slash & Burn.
>>
>>78740366
Why? So he can go creatively bankrupt?
>>
>>78740274
Nothing.
>>
>>78740406
How is Image creatively bankrupt?
>>
>>78740274
Well of the 12 they just launched

Red Thorn, Twilight Children, Unfollow, Clean Room, Survivors' Club, and Sheriff of Babylon are the ones I like most.

Have you actually looked at their line? For every good comic there's 3 mediocre/bad ones. Creators there are more interested in selling movie/tv show scrips than making comics. Also, this idea of no editors=best thing ever is dumb. A good editor will make sure the damn title doesn't go on hiatus 7-8 months/year and that the writer actually has a direction and isn't just milking it. Sure, no editor is better than a bad editor, but...

>For every good comic there's 3 mediocre/bad ones.
That's actually a really good ratio.
>>
>>78732011
The influence of CSI on the average American is pretty great.
>>
>>78731904
>>78731920
This fucking lettering.
>>
>>78732505
I knew a guy who was a mercenary in Iraq, this is legit. He used to feed the stray cats.
>>
>>78743592
They are called private military contractors sempai. Mercenary is not a politically correct term anymore.
>>
>>78732011
this is great.
