Wasn't wild about the yearbook playing back up the Apple-Raven rivalry after they'd more or less settled all their differences, but I guess it was more emphasizing they're still very different people even though they're friends now.

Why?
Apple-
Everything is planned out to perfection to try and be the best possible date. Extremely well-done, but somewhat rigid. Likely to get a little upset at first if something goes wrong unexpectedly, but will roll with it once she’s had a little time and try to make the best of it. Just wants everything to go well in the end.
Raven
No plan, no confidence, not sure what to do or say. Will probably find her feet about halfway through and then it’s a fun, spontaneous evening, but before then she’s going to be a ball of nerves.
Maddie
The most high-energy tea party imaginable. Good fun if you can keep up, but she’s not going to check herself if you can’t.
Kitty
Stands you up and then ambushes you when you get home.
Cerise
Kind and considerate, but distant. Is likely going to spend most of the evening agonizing about trying to broach the “I’m half-werewolf” subject.
Briar
Not shy at all, extremely affectionate, but going to get bored really really easily if you’re not doing something exciting.
Blondie
Means well, but nothing you can do here is going to be good enough. Not even breaking and entering together.
Duchess
Haughty and hard to impress, but secretly over the moon someone’s paying her this kind of attention and has no idea how to be grateful for it. Not likely to consider how the evening went for you as long as she had a good time.

Coming over her place to cook. This will be the most delicious meal you’ve ever had, but exercise caution otherwise you might gain ten pounds before she’s even kissed you goodnight and sent you on your way.

I doubt it. The story of pinnochio is just about wanting a child, and particularly when it's gender-inverted, would YOU want those details for your daughter before she's old enough to need them?
It's pretty convenient, really, Cedar won't have to deal with puberty or any of that crap and won't have any of the equipment until she's old enough to use it responsibly.

It's got more of a story and character development than Monster High, so that might help you get into it. I find it the more enjoyable of the two series, although the puns in both are about the same groan-worthy tier. The books are where a fair bit of the neat stuff is, although later on there's some nice stuff in the web series, too.
