Hey anons, whats the consensus on the RWBY figures/statues (the cheaper RT sponsored ones and the 170 dollar full figures.
I have been thinking about ordering some but from the quality i see in pics I have seen idk if the 35 dollar figures are worth it. I'm not crazy about the 170 dollar price tag on the other series either.
Maybe since the series is garnishing increasing popularity in the east other sculptors will tackle them, but for now what are peoples thoughts for a man on the fence?

The cheaper figs are for the most part rubbish. I've heard from folks that have bought them that the Ruby, Ren and to a lesser extent Nora figs are probably the best of the cheaper bunch.
The expensive Ruby and Blake figs are kinda eh. I've heard mostly positive things about the Ruby one, but the blake one is kind of fucked up. I haven't seen it in real life myself, but the face sculpt on it is just...off. I don't know how to describe it, like it looks souleless I guess would be the way to describe it. It's so expressionless it's sort of uncomfortable to look at.
