Around two years ago I had never read a comic book in my life. After playing Arkham Asylum and City I decided to start reading Batman. A friend recommended Year One and TDKR. I got the omnibus of TDKR which included TDKSA. I read all of them and whilst I thought the art was wonky at times in TDKSA I really enjoyed it.
Then I went to see what other people thought of it and everybody spewed so much hate on it, I couldn't understand it.
