The problem with Rey is that J.J tried to have is cake and eat it too. Luke was also the weakest character in the originals but made it up for having the most evolving arc throughout the trilogy. J.J. thought he could do that in the span of one film and failed. Rey didn't evolve, she just does it because plot demanded she do it. As for Kylo, /tv/ is missing the point. He's essentially supposed to be a better version of Anakin from the prequels and I felt they succeed.

BuckyCap's stories include a lot of Sam, Natasha, Steve, and Sharon, so there's a lot to work with the current cast of characters. SamCap hasn't been out long enough to have a good run to base a movie off of and is separated from the rest of the cast right now. I think Standoff coming out this year might provide some good material to do a future MCU SamCap story because it will tie in Steve and Bucky again, but I think we should give him a few more years. I like all 3 Caps, but I don't think they should skip over BuckyCap since it is an important aftermath consequence to CW.

You could interpret that line multiple ways. Obi-Wan didn't even mean it literally. He wasn't more powerful as a ghost than as a man, he was just able to defeat Vader by using Luke as his surrogate. My point is that Empire establishes a lot of what's wrong with Star Wars. By making Vader Luke's father you make the universe smaller, by turning Obi-Wan into a ghost capable of apparitions to remove the threat of death, by making the force something that requires training as a child you cheapen Luke using the force to blow up the Death Star without any training.
