The flood storyline finally comes to a conclusion. Was it worth all the early dragging of feet?I think so.
I know people have been iffy on the art, but I think it really shines here. The whole comic is in this surreal underworld, so the unique style really helps the atmosphere.
Whoops, meant to make the thread subject Doctor Fate, not my name. Oh well. Hopefully people see it.
I still enjoy it, but I really wish Western media would stop casting Anubis as the villain. Anubis and Thoth fighting is super retarded and it fuels my autism. Ah well, points for trying to tell an original story.

In general I agree, but I thought it worked well enough for the comic. And Thoth is probably my favorite Egyptian god, so anything that gets him in the spotlight is a +1 in my book.
I enjoy this series, I hope when it inevitably gets canceled DC doesn't shelve the artist because he's great

honestly it's kind of sad that everything that happens around the main character is infinitely more interesting than the character himself. levitz has good ideas but he drags his feet on character development so hard that khalid just reads boring at best and annoying at worst.

Yeesh.

This is true. I have a feel for everyone's character, even the love interest(s), except Khalid. He comes off as a bit of a jerk but that's it. Maybe in the next arc.
