This is just a rip-off of Adventure Time anyway, the gems only care about Steven because Rose is dead ( womens egoism what a surprise ) and Pearl didn't have a crush on Rose, they're in a parent/child relationship.

>It's a episode about how people with money always become assholes.

Just once can we have a "rags to riches to rags" story be about the rich donating their money or something like that, to maybe a charity group that once helped them?

Only if they're nuveau riche or win a huge amount very suddenly through the lottery, which isn't uncommon in real life. There are wealthy sympathetic characters

Shit, I forgot about this. Let me add another cliche to mend for my mistake.

Assuming "we" refers to /co/ in general, we can just end the thread right now by stating that "we" hate "literally everything".

I know, but the thing is that if the lie is something serious, like "We are being invaded by (insert powerful force here)". If it was something small like "I lost my shoes and coat, so I guess I can't leave the house", that's okay; it's when the lie is a life or death matter and nobody gives a shit just because he is a known liar that bothers me. You would think they would at least send someone to check it out to see if the story is true or not, but no; they just automatically assume it's not worth it, even when the liar is trying to save their lives.

You still don't get it, Batman didn't want to kill him because It goes against his morals.

I blame the cops for not killing joker NOT batman or superman. Why do society want superheroes to kill their villains?
>>
>>78590680
that is what i meant though, actual people, not supers.

i know bats has his morals and shit, but are you telling me that you wouldn't want to kill a sick fuck like joker who just keeps getting out of arkham over and over? im sure that the courts and such would get sick of it after less than a fucking decade.

I think Making Fiends reversed that a little bit.
Vendetta was feared, not popular, and Charlotte was depicted as the good guy in most of the episodes. Actually, I think all of the episodes she was depicted as Vendetta's guinea pig for torture that never worked out, because of how cheerful she always was, to a fault.
>the whole "popular kids are assholes" trope is never subverted in some way, like with another popular kid calling a popular asshole out on his shit
>unpopular characters are rarely actually given a reason for being unpopular other than "oh they're shy"
>it's a poorly done filler episode
>it's an episode with a shoehorned message
>>
>>78590734
>This
Another cliche, share in both anime and comic a lot, is the "justification" for any villains, especially the popular ones. Like, the popular villains explain why they become evil, then, their action somehow justify despite the wicked things they pull out.

Nigga. Have you seriously never heard of the Boy Who Cried Wolf?
>>
>>78590475
So, if I tell you there's a wolf outside your door, you'll check every time?
>>
>>78589770
Never liked battle of the sexes episodes. A few jokes can be salvageable if the idiocy is equal opportunity, but it's still pretty predictable.
>>
>>78591566

I'd install a camera to make sure of it before I actually open the door.
>>
>>78591119
I do too
>>
>>78591566
I presume I would hear growling, barking or door clawing first if the wolf is as vicious as you are probably making it out.

Besides, we can always look out of windows to check as well. There are more ways than one to check a liars credibility in some situations.
>>
>>78590565

Well they didn't. Call a nigga out.
>>
>>78591662
That's pretty extreme just for me saying there's a wolf outside.

>>78591833
Wolves don't always growl, bark, and scratch doors.
So, you would check the window every time?

Probably. It really doesn't take long, like less than a second, and I'm just assuming the lair you are trying to sell isn't a annoying fuck and doesn't do that shit like every minute.
