Whelp, it's January
Where's my Ava's Demon!?
nowhere

I too want to believe anon but her performance the last year(?) has left me in a state of considering it dead until proven otherwise.
I mean what has she realistically done that we know? Gone to plenty of cons, granted some kickstarter stuff which may be more elaborate than others but that does not explain the whole time period not even close. And going to cons is just dumb as opposed to producing the product that she'd promote at a con.
Heck I've forgotten it only to be remindeda few times by picture/tthreads on /co/. Such a shame, really.
Verbatim from a Kickstarter update email on the 30th:
>Sorry for the lack of updates, but you should all be happy to hear that we are close to shipping everything out! The book one shipment is in our studio, the book two shipment is on its way.
>Pins are being made at the factory right now, with new, higher quality keys as well
>Stickers and prints are on their way. For some reason, the most challenging rewards that I've been trying to produce are the card prints with foil, which we might have to wait for a little longer since the printer seems to be having some issues with them getting made and shipped.
>The necklaces are going through some prototypes since we don't want them to break, the initial design came out really fragile in a 3d print, and I am working with my husband to strengthen it for the jewelers to cast.
>Other than a ton of back and forth with all the factories, I've been working on the 5k tier video reward, and have started the 1k tier portraits. If I have not contacted you about your portrait, please be patient, because I have 17 of them and can only do one at a time.
>Thanks again for your patience and support and sorry for not posting in a while!! It's very time consuming work.
Along with this nice little update teaser panel.
Pins are looking good.

Yeah, I thought the pins were going to look like shit, so I didn't pick a tier with them, opting instead for the books speed pact. Kinda wish I'd have gotten the pins now though.

Were even lower tiers rather elaborate with intricate rewards needing manufacturing?
>>78586104
The cards were a fairly low tier as I remember, and they're seeming to pose the most problems.

The pins are on one of the lowest tiers. The holo/foil cards are proving to be difficult for the printers to make though, so that's apparently holding things up a bit.
I didn't really bother to remind myself what the other tiers included, but feel free to take a look at them if you're interested.

I sprung for the pins on the off chance that they would actually be decent quality, and I'm pretty happy with how it's going. Maybe there'll be overstock for sale in her online shop, but if there is, you'll have to jump on it quick.
I'm actually surprised with how classy they look. You could wear one with formal wear and it wouldn't look out of place.
I went for the $160 tier for some insane reason. It's going to be like a second christmas when this stuff ships.
So this has been around for what, two years? Maybe three? And she's been merchandising this shit since the first year. Was homosuck even this quick to jump on the gravy train?

people were begging hussie for god tier hoodies for years before he caved it
and by caved in I mean 'started dating someone willing to do it for him'
>>78586529
I guess we're just ignoring all other webcomics that have merch in favor of comparing this comic to homestuck then?
>>78586671
It doesn't matter.
If you make money with your comic you're a greedy kike.

Those actually look pretty good. Maybe not "putting my comic on hiatus for damn near a year" good, but pretty good regardless.
>>78586529
And every time she goes on crazy long comic hiatus' to finish the stuff. I worry this will feed into an endless feedback loop, where each hiatus will be longer than the last.

Boy, wish I had backed it. Other comic rewards like the HS game don't even look this polished.

>tfw someone saves your oc
Feels good man

From what I heard, the people who Hussie were originally working with ran off with all the money.

are we posting oc now?
