Hypothetically, Brian stayed dead and Vinny became the new dog permanently.
How would you feel about this?
No change really, he'd just be in the background more and barely have any lines.
How would I feel, nothing really, I mostly ignore Family Guy.

Idk, i stopped watching when they brought him back, 3 episodes after killing him, just for the ratings
>>78578534
I'd give Family Guy credit for having the guts to stick with it, even if it reeks of "running out of ideas syndrome" and barely changes anything. Better than the fake publicity stunt we got.
I still wouldn't watch it, though.

HAHA ITALIAN JOKES

It's not that they brought him back that annoyed me, it's that it was literally two episodes after he died. They could have at least kept Vinny around for the rest of the season and either brought Brian gack in the season finale or the next season's premier.
The favt that it was so blatantly obvious that it was nothing more than ratings really tarnished the whole thing and drained the drama eight out of it.

I quit paying attention to Seth Macliberaldouche years ago.

>it was nothing more than ratings
That's not why they did it; they did it to fuck with the audience, Jesus, you guys are thick.
>>78578534
Guy with a RIP Brian tatoo would be a little bit less funny.
That's all
>>78578534
Nothing changes, but those who still watch it go all "NOT MUH FAMILY GUY"

I'm sure the thought never crossed the mind of the writers or network executives when they hyped it up as a huge event, or when entertainment news shows / sites spent the next two weeks talking about it.
In an unrelated coincidence, that episode aired during sweeps. In another coincidence, the episode where Brian returns was the most viewed episode of the season!
Of course, maybe they didn't plan for it, and they really were just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks and happened it happened to get big. That's no less cynical. Perhaps more so.
I thought how they brought him back was kinda clever with how a cutaway from an earlier episode came in to play.

he is STILL dead, see Road To Las Vegas (AKA, the least favourite "Road to" episode)

Except people figured that would happened the next episode after brians death even aired
>>78578873
Not necessarily, we don't know if the ones that teleported were the copies or not. Ether original Stewey or original Brian could be dead.
>>78578534
You know how people like to say FG characters are bad? Vinnie was actually bad, he was basically that Italian-American "I'm walking here" character from Rick & Morty, except played unironically.

Would likely result in less brian porn so no
Wish we kept New Brian around though
I wouldn't give a crap because I stopped bothering with family guy years ago.

>Heard about Brian dying
>Immediately realise it's a publicity stunt and he'll be back in a few episodes
>Assume everybody else realises that too
>There are people who got "RIP Brian" tattoos
Sometimes I want this world to end
