If Marvel acquired the X-Men franchise, will it be better or worse?

It will be more middle of the road. No X3s or Origins, but no X2s or DoFPs either.
Just a long, meandering stream of X1 facsimiles, getting more and more derivative which each new entry.
It'd be a fresh start which is what I think the series needs most.
At this point however, Marvel would be more likely to make a tv show instead of a movie.

At best Mutants are just starting to emerge, at worst somehow all Mutancy has been able to keep itself underwraps even to SHIELD.

They are literally making (or at least co-producing) the two upcoming X-men TV shows. Obviously that's what they'd do.

The 3 films would be more about Wolverine since he's where the money is and wouldn't get spin-off series. The villains would probably be Magneto the quipster who dies at the end

And for the final film would be Apocalypse and ancient quipster who thinks only the funny should survivehe dies at the end
The X-men have so many stories to tell it would be a crime for them to be a small section of something bigger. Keep them at Fox, sure not all of the movies are good but they have a better track record with their 7 movies than MCU has with 12.

At least a Mahvel X-Men movie would have a Blue Mystique, with a skull on her forehead. As opposed to JLaw in a tight uniform who may as well be a completely different character as she is almost nothing like Mystique.
But the best thing about it would be that Mahvel and Fox could end the stupid ass pissing contest and mutants can stay mutants and not fucking "Miracles" and/or fucking Inhumans. Everything would be in one universe as it should be.
