I'm really enjoying Darkseid War and the Green Lantern tie-in is basically issue if the year. Justice League should really be about epic stories and Johns is just in his element right now for making big, crazy events. This is probably the best event Johns has done since Sinestro League. Fabok is perfect for Justice League too, since he basically makes every character look like a sculpture of a Greek god and builds on that epic feel.

When Johns gets a character, he GETS a character. He has a lot of cool ideas and lots of love for capes, and while his comics are certainly no high arts, they are solid entertainment and good character beats far more often than not.
