Whatever does "comfy" even mean, when applied to a cartoon or comic?
It means it makes you feel warm and cozy and comfortable. When something gives you the feeling of being wrapped up in a blanket in front of a fireplace, that's comfy.

It's all about how you feel while reading it, whether it be atmosphere, pacing, characters, or whatever.
>I, a manchild, happened to be entertained by this cartoon

It's short for comfortable, which is a word used to describe something that is relaxing, accommodating, and pleasant.
So in other words. It just means "it has elements which I enjoy."

I usually see that word applied to things that are typically considered to be simplistic or relaxing as opposed to something high energy.
Pic related is an example of a cartoon that can be described as "comfy".

Imagine your favorite film/series/cartoon/comic/whatever.
Then take away from it the themes, conflict, drama, action, plot and character development.
That's "comfy".

This.
I typically use it for relaxing slice of life cartoons.
When a show has warm, inviting elements and develops at a slow pace
John Goodman's character from The Emperor's New Groove is comfy.

My socks are comfy.
Nothing
It's just a buzzword, ignore it
Basically a show without a lot of high intensity moments like fights or tryhard humor. There can be some action scenes still, but they are more based on suspense rather than forceful hits.
It's just a nice watch that you can get under the covers and enjoy.
Something inoffensive, low energy, simple, no conflict, no action, no drama.

>a legitimate word is a buzzword
It's a trendy buzzword for simpletons who can't articulate their thoughts in any meaningful arrangement.
Ignore their posts they have nothing to say.
A word that has a pretty obvious straightforward meaning but somehow either confuses or angers many people when they see it.
SU is COMFY and DOESNT FEEL GUD

Non stressful and easily digestible is what Id assume.
Some nice and simple to just sit down that will entertain without overwhelming the viewer

thread is over, these are concise
any post past this one is a troll

Low intensity, not a lot of action, funny and light hearted. Comparable to a comfy book that you'd read while wrapped in a blanket, sipping hot tea.
It's an adjective, it explains itself. Are you retarded?

I disagree. I think it means nostalgic in a way that appeals to any of the viewer's positive memories. It's not a standard measurement.
Relaxing and heartwarming, I'd assume.

well the two seem to go hand in hand an awful lot
