This for real. I brought up Bucky the other day to a coworker who "loves" the Marvel movies and he was like who? I said the guy with the metal arm and he said oh I thought he was a bad guy.

It always bothered me when people ship them romantically in the comics since Steve knew Bucky when Bucky was a kid, when Captain America White came out people complained about Bucky being 14 (and Steve being in his early 20's) but they still ship it which was really hella weird

This is why I only ship them in the MCU. I love them being best friends since childhood, but a gap of even a few years in the comics weirds me out. I just can't do it. 616 is a big "no, thank you."
