Writers have been able to deal more with questions of power responsibilities to his people vs. responsibilities of a superhero with the character more easily than with Wonder Woman and I think it's a neat angle to his character. I like him best when he's trying to juggle his duties to both people on the surface and Atlantis.

1. Keep him away from edgy looks Hated that hook and sea beard shit. 52 has a nice balance of original duds but making him look regal.
2. Stop being a surface kek. He should be like a friendlier Namor in that he polices the ocean and helps out the JLA every once in awhile. If they want him in the JLA more it should be with matters concerning deep sea like environments or world war level shit. This is a bit of a complaint I have with all king heroes who run off to America to punch purse snatchers.

An alien 4 way with earth, all so old you can't call them aliens. Especially when humans are also alien to earth. (Martians call it Solar 3 and so does the ancient colony ship)
This would be really fun to write. Could be over some sort of secret radiation at the center of the planet that causes "magic" or something else. Like protection from Trygons influence or even worse, a gateway that all four swore to protect from such evils.
