The difference is that those have jokes wherein the farting is used in a way that's comical.
I've said it before, but Jeph jacques idea of a fart joke is saying fart or having farts just happen.
He does that shit all the time where characters will just say things he thinks are funny like butt or fart without actually having jokes.
