Hello Gumball general.
I watched a lot of the first season and didn't like it enough to consider it worth continuing.
I do not like random, stupid humor.
I do, however, like the animation style of Gumball; the whole real life pictures mixed with cartoons is really neat.
I also really like Nicole. Her character design, I mean.
I am also a giant cuck who requires the validation of anons in deciding what shows I like.
Would I like Gumball?

As you've been told, try S2/S3/S4, the show does sort of change as you go on. If you don't like S2, try S3 and if not, try S4. They're only 10 minute episodes so you don't have much to lose.
lolrandom humour is something they do though, mostly through Richard and Sussie and it's not something that has gone away. I find I can tolerate it because I enjoy the rest quite a bit, but just be aware that it does exist and will rear its ugly head from time to time in the show. There's been quite a few genuinely cringey moments in the show for me, but there's been far more times I've been laughing my ass off.
The Fridge is a good episode. as is The Sweaters
