Let me just say that I was expecting Billy to be awful when I rewatched this show as an adult. He is literally the best. Richard Steven Horvitz really makes the character. His delivery makes unfunny lines funny and makes funny lines the best lines ever. Literally perfect.

I agree with this statement. Billy and Mandy is dark without going into hot topic merchandise territory, and still being funny. Also Billy's randumb works while Gir just pisses me off half the time.They had at least some of it on netflix the last time I checked, but of course I look for it today and they've taken it off. It's also possible Mandy just likes him without her being able to face the music. Probably. He may be dumb as a brick but because of this he's fundamentally innocent, and Mandy probably realizes this. His affection towards her is so illogical and genuine that she can't disregard it.
