Aside from the obvious foreshadowing about the transmit towers being one of Cinder's objectives, and the hilarious lack of techno babble explaining how "transmit" works any differently from radio, I'm VERY intrigued to see how absolutely dependent Remnant is upon dust for literally all of its tech. They can't even build rockets without dust, and I'm even more intrigued to hear that dust does nothing when you remove it from the planet even just to low orbit.
Remember when we had tons of theories about why one of the moons was half shattered? Knowing that the humans of Remnant can't even Space both narrows the possibilities AND raises more questions. Yet another "gj" for RT I suppose.
