...I love it. Don't tell /co/.
>>
I didn't like it that much. Don't tell /co/.

It has some serious high points. However it also suffers greatly at times from both being too preachy and from making Spider too much of an always-right self-insert.
>>
It was okay.

Far better than any capeshit though.

I haven't read it yet. Don't tell /co/
>>
I HATE COMICS
>>
Does /co/ not like it anymore? Back when I started on /co/ it was on the must read list. Hell, Trasmet and Watchmen were the first two things recommended to me. They got me into comics!
... Damn, I've been here like a decade.

I liked it. It was the only time Garth Ennis' edginess worked.

it's a fun read and interesting. The ideas in it, the concept and importance of the truth... it gets a bit heavy handed, but I think many of us would like to find that the journalists and news reporters in the real world had the same level of integrity that spider does, bastard though he is.

Also the world building is flawless. Practically every page of the city is abuzz with noise and background detail. There are lots of concepts, technologies, and places that just get sort of name dropped, and the reader just fucking rolls with it because everything seems possible.

>pre-SJW /co/
I think it was really cool with classic Ellis satire and blue comedy
>post-SJW /co/
It's whiny liberal garbage for fedora faggots
>>
Only Ellis work I like. And I love it.

Definitely my favourite thing about it. Love when Gaiman does it too.
