Why make all of these characters if they never use them? I felt like Ralph's world had all of these funny and interesting characters we didn't get to see because it was only about Ralph and Vanellope. The Fix-It Felix, the Hero's Duty, and Sugar Rush worlds were so huge that I feel that was wasted potential alone. I mean the story we got was great and I wouldn't change it, but damn there is so much potential here. Imagine all of the other games in the arcade too. It's almost overwhelming if you think about it. The only character we got to see was Taffyta out of all these. I wish Disney would realize that this is a goldmine for ideas.

They were used, though. The characters in Fix-It Felix abused Ralph which motivated him to want to be a good guy, the racers in Sugar Rush abused Vanellope which made her want to be a racer, and the characters in Hero's Duty weren't used because they were literally just meant to be faceless stock characters. You don't really need to go in depth for any of these characters because they all serves the same purpose. It'd be like giving every single stormtrooper an intricate backstory.

I like the theory that every game that wasn't a preexisting one was published by Tobikomi, so there's enough similarities in all of their guts to allow Turbo to pull off his game jump so successfully(it's also why the Cy-Bugs were able to successfully transplant themselves into Sugar Rush, if they had been in a non-Tobikomi game it would have been too different for them to thrive in)
