It lost direction and its writer over that whole "no one can be married" mandate of Didio's. It hit rockbottom over the "lesbian vampire rape" arc.It wasn't really a vampire but the rape angle is still vague.
Honestly, I feel like Batwoman would be more intimidating if her hair wasn't visible. I'm sure they could give her a full cowl and still let her have long hair when she isn't wearing it.
