>>78436944
I find these pages/panels really appealing. Not sure what you would call it - but when you get to see a full technical kit. Really liked it in the first issue of Prophet, too.

Anybody have a Batwoman reading order list?
>>78437519
detective comics 854 863 ,52 and her solo series only 1 to 24.
>>78437496
Weird to think how much /co/ would probably hate this if it were coming out nowpun unintended
>>78437636
The only thing /co/ hates is issue 25 to 40
>>78437652
Do you seriously think that issue wouldn't have a reaction if it were an ongoing release here?
>>78437669
Maybe
>>78437550
Thanks, OP!
>>78437694
You welcome anon..
>>78437694
Actually just read the Williams drawn issues of the new 52 run. Second arc has ugly art and it can be skipped quite easily.
the end.
>>78436246
Damn, savage. I'd say it's good that this never happens to Bruce, but that's probably only because he forgoes most forms of human contact.
Thanks OP
>>78438697
You welcome anon.
where is Batwoman in the current DCU right now?
>>78438907
Last time i saw her was in batgirl annual and convergence the question. out of continuity bombshells.

>automatic lock pick with various attachments
>hinge cuffs
>grapple gun
>cell phone
>gas mask
>four US military-issue flashbangs
Nice bit of kit here
>>78439064
So good
Is this stuff collected anywhere?
>>78439256
Only issue 854 to 857 in batwoman elegy.
Thanks OP, the backup story was amazing (pity Jock couldn't finish it out) and I can't believe it wasn't collected in Elegy. Batwoman was one of the biggest casualties of the New 52, they had a truly exciting and well written modern character and then they didn't even let Williams finish his run.
>>78439462
Sucks DC didn't allow her to marriaged.
>>78437636
>>78437669
I really don't think so. It might be slightly on the nose, but the bottom line is that this run is well written. Don't ask don't tell gives her excellent character motivation and then after it's done her sexual orientation is never portrayed as a big deal or highlighted again.
>>78437626
Was that meant to be a subtle ASBAR reference?
>>78439462
He could have finished, they just didn't want any characters getting married, so he left. I hope they can get a new creative team on her, maybe coax Ruck into doing a mini or something, seems like he's forgiven DC somewhat.
>>78439462
Disagree. New 52 Batwoman was boring as fuck; you'd think fighting Mexican ghosts and mythological figures would be fun, but it wasn't. The book needs Rucka or someone of equal capability writing it.
>>78437840
Nice tech description here. This is how I normally think of Batman's suit, although that one is even more advanced than this
>>78439635
It was always gorgeous and was well plotted out as far as introducing the various plot threads leading up to the Batwoman vs. Batman showdown. It also had it's own unique take on the Bat mythos via the military/special ops focus. I'll concede that it was fairly straightforward and can see how you could find that boring, but the beauty was in its simplicity in my opinion. It was just a well told, well drawn modern superhero comic that had some thought and obvious passion put into it. An unfortunate rarity these days.
>>78439607
Allowing Williams to not finish what was one of the best runs (and if you don't think that then it was certainly the best drawn) of the new 52 because of an arbitrary editorial mandate is on DC, not Williams.
>>78436016
Thanks OP, big ups!
>>78437938
>Actually just read the Williams drawn issues of the new 52 run. Second arc has ugly art and it can be skipped quite easily.
Unfortunately, DC big wigs shitfaced (as usual) Rucka/Williams team in this.
>>78436361
I had this page as my wallpaper for a long time.
They need to get this man back on Batwoman.
>>78440096
You welcome anon.
Thanks OP. I absolutely loved this run. And Blackmens run after that. The fill in artist were great. But the following writer was just god awful. How could DC fucking over THE front runner of the LGBT comic scene. I'd love to see her brought back but Rucka is happy with Image, Willams and Blackman are both pissed at Marvel and Snyder is done with all things Bat related. This makes me sad guys.
>>78443148
I do miss kate. And mark screw up his chances with issue 34.
>>78443199
Yup two of my favorite DC books went to the shitter at the same time. Wondy and Batwoman. Maybe Gail or Valentine could write Batwoman.
>>78443334
I hope to see valentine get a shot at writing kate.
>>78443353
She absolutely knocked Cat woman out of the park. I feel she'll do the same for Kate.
>>78443467
If wonder what she is doing after catwoman.
>>78443480
Not a clue my dude. In a perfect world. Batwoman. But life isn't perfect.
>>78443600
One day rucka will return.
>>78443480
She's not just a comics writer, but a novelist and op-ed/blogger writter. I think one of her books was in contention for the Hugo, so she's fairly successful. Her continuing to write comics isn't guaranteed.
>>78443667
For her first mainstream attent at writing comics it wasnt bad.
>>78443691
It was very good! But she may not want to do more, or DC may not want to pay enough to hire her.
>>78443723
Agreed
>>78443769
I 100% agree she would smash it on Kate Kane or Cass though. Actually she would do any of the Bat-family fantastically I think.
>>78443723
So she's female Neil Gaiman in that she doesn't need to write comics because she's already critically acclaimed in other fields. That only makes me want her want her even more!
>>78443818
A Valentine Batwoman book with Cass as her underling. Mystical Kung-fu and werebeast. Sign me up.
>>78443885
I buy it.

>>78446362
No problem. She also has a new indentity hawkfire.
>>78443622
Yup
2hrs 52mins and on page 6?
I like storytimes and have no prob bumping for others but why is this is a storytime limbo?
Will we ever see Batwoman in the DC Movie universe?
Reminder that Batwoman's saga ultimately ended with this
>>78439292
So the last three issues were never collected?
>>78453211
No sadly.
>>78451475
Thank you
>>78452704
Yes
>>78436016
What should I read after the "Elegy" trade? The first few "Batwoman" trade volumes before the art changes? I kind of love Batwoman now and Williams' art.
>>78457092
Yes, read Batwoman #1-24She's pretty good in Bombshells but that's an elseworld
>>78457118
Everything after is non canon.
>>78453052
I hope one day
