Different anon, I think the AF design and writing were to focused on the "tough guy/alien tech dealer" aspect. I was sad that he was sorta dropped in OV, but he was great when he did appear. His design was a lot more expressive, and I found his interactions with Rook some of my favorite scenes.

Nope. Man of Action was forward thinking back when Ben 10 was being made. They produced the series in both 16:9 and 4:3. Due to restricts by Cartoon Network back then, only the 4:3 versions were aired in the US(maybe the UK too, not sure). We knew there were 16:9 versions, though, because trailers and stuff from the Asian Market were using them, and they probably were using those versions.
Back in like Late May/Early June this year, the 1080p versions mysteriously appeared on iTunes, Amazon, etc. without any fanfare or anything. Cartoon Network must've just remembered/discovered they still had the 1080p masters or something and decided to put them up.
Long story short we've now got all of the series in HD.

I like that they gave Gwen magic so she could have superpowers, but I don't like the way they handled it. With Ben, he had a huge variety of aliens to choose from, but you knew what any given alien could do.
