SIMPLY HAVING
Is there anything worse than Paul's solo career?
>>78412597
John's solo career.
Except that John's solo Christmas song is supposed to be poignant and stuff, with kids and no-more-war. Paul's solo Christmas song is only remembered for its silly 1970s synth music.
Goddamnit it, wrong pic. I meant this one.
I love the Beatles cartoon.
>>78412597
Ringo's solo career
Not even kidding, poor Ringo

A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS TIME

He wrote the superior goldfinger theme, at least.by way of the Peter Serafinowicz show.

OI
That'll be enough of that, lad.
>>78412571
So who's gonna be the last to die?
George or Ringo?
>>78413074
Still,
You gotta admire Ringo's sense of humor
>>78414709
I like his version of the character better than Carlin's. Which I still think was pretty decent
>>78415222
George is with his sweet Lord senpai
>>78415222
hmm, out of those two, id bet on ringo.
>>78415222
Paul's probably nextRingo dies before Pete Best

SON OF A BITCH DAMMIT, CARLOS!
>>78413074
Ringo never had a 'solo' career, he has always shared his music with the others. Never demanding to be the frontrunner, he and his band rotate around and switch places so they all get a chance to shine. Because that's the kind of bloke ol' richard starkey is.
>>78412597
John's life circa 1981.
>>78412571
Well, at least the 'music' at my job should be over. Some terrible covers this year. Maybe I won't have to suffer another holiday season next year.
>>78415222
It better be Ringo.
>>78415752
Son of a bitch...you made me laugh.
>>78412571
I wish I could replace all instances of Wonderful Christmas Time with McCartney's Temporary Secretary
>>78417496
this
Paul's cool and all, but there's this sweet essence from Ringo that would be missed once he's gone
Paul's face translated so well to cartoons.
Have there ever been any characters with their designs based off of him?
>>78412571
>tfw a huge Beatles fan, have all their music and have seen Yellow Submarine a million times but never once the Beatles cartoon or Magical Mystery Tour
Am I missing out?

Jesus Christ, are you a 70 year old woman? Who the fuck likes the Beatles?

>Be a damn good drummer who headlined clubs all over Europe in the Early Sixties
>Eventually swap over to another band whose shit drummer was dragging them down
>All of a sudden the four of you skyrocket to international superstardom
>Be the only one content with his fame and ability while the other three all jostle for creative control
>Be able to just sit back and enjoy the ride while the other three crank out the albums
>Be the backbone in the recording studio that gives a solid presence to the recordings
>Be the peace keeper who keeps the other three in line whenever one of them threatens your paychecks by getting high and calling himself the Second Coming or some shit
>Be the only one who can act worth a damn, so get the starring role in all the movies the group eventually makes
>When the group inevitably explodes because of the other chucklefucks bickering, be the only one who regularly collaborates with the other three and cashes in those "reunion" checks
>Get inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice because why not?
>Become more wealthy than you ever could have dreamed of
>Become more famous than 99.99% of people who have ever lived
I dream of someday having 1/10th the life Ringo has had.

>your favorite band sux
So tedious.
>>78419794
Fucking this.
>>78419794
Top bloke right here
>>78417941
Kind of looks like Yasuhiko's work.
Would John Lennon be a rambling old curmudgeon a la Alan Moore had he still lived?
Well this thread is better than Paul's Solo Career.
>>78415222
Hopefully it's Faul who dies next so we don't have to suffer any more horrible collaborations with Kanye West.
>>78422318
Fuck you John.
>>78419794
Also if you think Ringo is a bad drummer you objectively do not have to capacity to enjoy music properly.
>>78422425
He's one of the most technically gifted drummers of the past 50 years, that's for sure.

To be honest he is pretty average on the early songs, but possibly because the early songs were extremely simple.
He starts showing his skills only later on.
>>78419637
fuck off /mu/
>>78417941
he was ugly irl though
>>78423836
I don't think you know what "technically gifted" means
>>78424005
Oh eat a gunbarrel, /mu/
>>78419794
My roommate's wife didn't know who Ringo was
He was doing a collaborative concert in our area so she asked who he was. My roommate said he was the least popular Beatle. She proceeds to say Ringo was just trying to cash in on his fame like a shameless washout, riding on the backs of others.
>>78426583
Ringo's has a net worth of like half a billion dollars. He doesn't have to cash out on anything; if he's doing a show, it's because he likes to perform.
If they ever would to have a reboot for a Beatles cartoons. how well will they executed? And how long will it last?
>>78422425
He's a better drummer than Paul and John were guitarists, that's for sure. Maybe not as good an instrumentalist as George was a guitarist, but that's still high praise. I don't know how anybody can listen to, say, Come Together and not be blown away by Starr's percusion.
Get ready for the greatest version of the song and prepare to have a wonderful Christmas time.

John's song had Yoko in it though.
