The fanbase may be fans, but at least they make some good cheesecake.
I'm not surprised, the new show is actually decent.
It relies on a lot of old cliches and the animation feels like a dated cartoon made in the early 2000 era (Jimmy Neutron), but it's actually kinda lighthearted fun.
Interesting that you should compare it to the sonic fanbase, as I know there are probably people who like the sonic boom show, and that's animated by the same production company who did this new chipmunk show.
