>Looney Tunes show
>It's not looney at all
Still better than Wabbit.
Bugs was Batman and Superman, how is that not looney?
>punchline to every joke is that Daffy is a horrible person
>>78360424
I fucking loved seeing evil Daffy beating up Bugs.
>>78360366
Best cartoon adaptation of a live action sitcom
>>78360464
>Daffy is the main character
>Bugs' stories are always B-plots
>>78360366
You mean Bugs getting locked up in Albanian jail for espionage because he wanted to skip out on Porky all leading to the misunderstanding that Lola was moving in with him and thus kicking out Daffy who joins the marines as a result isn't looney?
Because I'd call that pretty fucking looney.
Is it just me or Bugs was portrayed as a complete loser in this show?
>>78360704
everyone was just a fucking loser in this show
>>78360733
Yeah, but Bugs nearly died a few times because of Daffy.

Could be worse.
Actually, while we're on the topic, WOULD a proper Looney Tunes continuation actually work out? As in, with the same sort of silent humour as before? Or is that something of a bygone era, and just not good enough compared to modern cartoons?
>"I want /pol/ to leave!"
>proceeds to have thread about Tumblr politics
>>78360821
Wrong thread, m8.
>>78360792
they should have done a show about them being actors, like in a lot of classics.
So they could have done the sitcom stuff and the slapstick.
>>78360792
>WOULD a proper Looney Tunes continuation actually work out?
If course it would, just look at Duck Dodgers.
Fuck wabbit for making me miss this show.
>>78360464
it really was a lot of variations on that one joke, but it's a joke I didn't mind for the character or show.
just outright copying/"referencing" classic stuff for 90% of the material would've been much worse.
>>78360792
The ones they animated using old Looney Tunes radio tapes were actually really good.

So you're saying you didn't even watch the fucking show?
>>78360693
Know your role
>>78363454
>CGI
no thanks
>>78363692
Your loss.
I didn't really like this show, but this episode was great.
>>78364266
>mfw didn't really like the show
>proceeds to post picture from the last episode
>>78364909
Well let's just say I didn't like most episodes, especially the ones with Lola.
>>78364944
but man, there are like 52 episodes.. did you suffer through all of them?
The show would have been better if it'd just been Daffy, Lola, Foghorn Leghorn, and Yosemite Sam. The rest of the cast ranged from dead-weight like Bugs to just awful in every way like Pete Puma.
That and the songs were overwhelmingly awful.
>>78364944
Lola was fucking hilarious mang.
>>78365167
Yeah...except the Christmas one and I haven't seen Rabbit Run either.
>>78365308
You need a Seinfeld for every Kramer, man
>>78360366
People give this show too much heat. Just because it isn't over the wall like the traditional cartoons doesn't mean it can be considered bad.
I liked it
>>78365308
>Bugs
>Deadweight
That right there was the biggest fuckup. You go back and look at the classic shorts where Bugs is a cunning, hilariously cruel prankster, and then in this show he's just the boring straight man and foil to everyone else's shenanigans. How the fuck did they get him so wrong?
>>78365506
yeah Rabbit Run is absolutely horrible, don't touch that
>>78365757
To be honest, I kind of liked this loser Bugs. Finally someone I could relate to.
>>78360792
It can work, the problem is having competent people behind it.
Most of the recent "silent" cartoon reboots like the Pink Panther, CGI Roadrunner or T&J are fucking awful due to either much talking, awful OST, the stretched pursuit scenes or a mix of these.
If you can get the team behind Duck Dodgers or the new Mickey Mouse shorts there's a possibility that at least decent LT can be made.
>>78363454
>Pwogwam actually printed on the paper.
This was legitimately a good cartoon and funnier than most animated stuff aired for kids these days
>>78365956
Yeah, I watched it for the first time just a few months ago and was really surprised how much I liked it, because the way some people reacted to it when it was on made me expect much worse.
Of course it's not on the level of the shorts, but it was deliberately attempting to do something different because it knew the classics couldn't just be imitated/surpassed.
>>78364162
>Your loss.
Oh, if you insist
>>78366396
You bastard
>>78364944
Is that Captain Carrot?
