Thanks OP
That brought back a few memories. Thanks, I needed that.
Wikipedia said that there would be a movie sometime? Not that it matters, but just sorta interesting.
>>78348948
This lucky dog gets to read it for the first time.
>>78350491
This was my first read. And holy fuck that ending was a rollercoaster of feels.
>>78350371
>a movie
God, I hope not. It could only be terrible.
>>78350371
Yeah, Zoe Saldana (Gamora) is playing Ms. Molle.
I celebrated my 21st birthday on saturday /co/ but it's actually today. most people get black out drunk and don't remember much. I'm much happier to be sipping Malibu and reading this gold. thanks Dan.
This has been on my to-read list for a while, so thanks, Dan!
Also on my list is another thing about a girl cowboy type something, but I really can't remember the name or any other details. Halp?
>>78350633
Daisy Kutter, The Last Train?
>>78350677
This looks and feels far more interesting than that Aang: The last Avatar ripoff comic 'Amulet'. Down to the evil prince turning good to defeat big bad daddy.
One of my favorites.
>>78351050
I'm jealous.
>>78351100
Got it for $40 on release.
>>78351133
god anon you are making me wet with jealousy

Bumpin for emotions
Sweet Christ, I was not ready for this to hit so close to home.
And here I thought it would be about urban monster slaying.
I was so fucking wrong, but also glad I was.
I Kill Giants is one of my favorite stories and I am incredibly salty about not getting the titan edition when I could. Now the price is jacked up and I won't pay that much for a book.

>urban monster slaying
Wayward from Image Comics is what you want there.
>>78346986
Still shit after all these years
>>78346986
THANK YOU FOR LISTENING DAN!
>>78350371
It probably won't work out.
Are we gonna make it?
So..uhhhh..does anyone have any lewds saved up?
>>78355010
Shhh...let this pass quietly.

I have more fingers on one hand then works that made me feel such genuine emotions.
Thanks op.
Is it just me or was that... somewhat disappointing?
I mean, the art was good, and Barbara was an interesting character... but all of the obvious things I hoped this wouldn't do since I'd seen it being praised so much it still did. Giants were an obvious metaphor for something (either an abusive parent or death - it was the latter), it had an unrealistically insane bully with zero redeeming qualities, a new friend who betrays her but feels sorry immediately afterwards, a caretaker who's overstressed but actually means well, an adult who tries to help her but fails because her approach is as blunt as Coveleski, an unlikely happy but also bittersweet ending...
Credit where credit's due, but I expected much more.
Damn that was a good comic man, really enjoyed it
>>78358120
That's why I avoid things that are overhyped. Expectations are blown up so much that the work in question can never meet them. I wait a while so that I 'forget' most of the hype.
>>78359742
What also matters is the intended audience - if this was written for around 10-year olds it'd be really good, but both the language and tone make me think that this is for late teens to adults, in which case it sits somewhere around 'okay' in rating.
>>78358120
I don't know what you expected. A slower descent into schizophrenic delusion? More sacrifice gore? More D&D? I don't see what there is to improve, aside from the art.
