I don't get it. There was one decent movie with no room for a sequel and they've been shitting out ridiculous bullshit ever since.
Who even watches this stuff?

The group is way too bloated and haa been since the second film. They at least tried to seperate the original trio from the rest in the last movie, but still spent half the movie wasting time on characters no one gave a shit about.

Black families, from what I've witnessed selling them.

>tfw Ray Romano can't get a decent gig to save his life

How do you go off of a series like Everybody Loves Raymond and say "you know what, I like this voice acting thing, it's kind of cool. I think I'll stay here forever!"

Guys, I've been thinking...

>Scrat created not only resurrected the dinosaurs in 3 and created the continents in 4, but the solar system as we know it in 5
>He has experienced love, death, resurrection, has seen and destroyed wonders beyond comprehension
>He has played an integral part in most of the movies, creating the dilemmas and solving them
>All for the sake of burying some fucking nut in the right spot of ice or snow or whatever the fuck
>TFW...Scrat has a more meaningful existence to the universe than you, me, or literally any other human could or will ever have and we will die alone with nothing to show for while some fucking comedy rat has the universe on his nut (literally)

These movies make money and they don't have to spend that much on them really. Solid perennial winner for FOX, kind of like how every Alvin and the Chipmunks makes a profit.
>>
The dino one was ok
>>
>>78346823
>kind of like how every Alvin and the Chipmunks makes a profit.
This one might not go so hot.
>>
>>78346862
It'll be a slow burn, probably top off at around $100-$120 million domestic after the new year. It's an easy movie for parents to take their kids to if they've already seen Star Wars. Still gonna have a profit drop from the last one though, but that's not unexpected for the folks who make them I imagine.
>>
Ray Romano still does live action stuff tho. In fact, he's was cast as Robert Kardashian in that series about the OJ Simpson trial that's airing on FX next year.

The first two sequels were hilarious, especially the Dino one.
>>
>>78346852
I remember it being just shit except for the "Did you die?" "Yes. But I lived." scene
>>
This movie is forgivable if it ends with them all going extinct, ending the series on a high, dramatic note

Also, I still can't get over how the first film had humans and they're basically non-existent in all the others
>>
>>78346608
And first it was the fish, then we had meltdown. No frozen pirates though, almost had 4 for 4.
>>
jesus christ they're still doing the acorn bit?

that shit got annoying before the first movie ended, and I watched it when I was like 10
>>
The premise of Ice Age after the first makes me uncomfortable.

These characters are experiencing what should be the end of what they know as the world, yet every fucking film is like "Nah everything is fine, look Manny has a girlfirend"
>>
>>78346691
Jesus christ the cast got that big? I was dragged to the 3rd movie (twice) and even then it seemed like the cast was getting far too bloated. (Honestly it should've stayed at 3 characters)
>>

She's like a walking stereotype.
>>
>>78349790
Something about a bunch of mexicanisms just really reel latinos in somehow.

It's like how old simpsons was so beloved in south america by it's dub. A lot of the shit Homer said were different from the original script that somehow became memorable quotes.

However, unlike the old simpsons, this is something that was already subpar and stretched too long, only salvaged from a few shines in dubbing.

>>
>>78349561
I could try for a really clever response but I'll just be really frank.

I don't really care for the way you use that word. Not that I think any word should be off limits, you're clearly just doing it to agitate people. And I'm not even against agitating people. I just think it can be done better. Anything worth doing, is difficult to do.

And yes, I do expect "Where do you think you are?" And again I must say, anything worth doing, is difficult to do.
>>
Holy fuck when they pressed Scrat's raw furry asshole against that panel they knew what they were doing

Funny thing is that animals from this time period were all very big and very dumb.

For instance the English Caribou, HUGE Caribou died off because the males would fight each other, lock their massive horns together, get stuck, lay there and wait for tigers or wolves or humans to come and put them out of their misery.

This is the time we came from too. Think about that.
