This show was surprisingly deep for a kids show. Season 1 and 2 before it went full Slimer were GOAT.
>>
I like how they pretty much swapped Peter and Ray's appearances from the movies.
>>
Thank JMS for that.
>>
It had J. Michael Strac--Straz-- they guy from Babylon 5 writing, thats why.

IDW Janine a best though. She's so close to winning the Egonbowl, too.
>>

I did. Spendy but worth it.
>>
>>78326661
Indeed, he came back to write the episode that explained why Janine sold her soul to change her looks.

>>78326788
I do miss that Janine, very rude for that movie coming out just to act like her and Kylie haven't been established Ghostbusters for over a decade.

>>78327531
Pomp Egon is great very distinct and sets him well.

That's Swiggy could always use some more Janine. Kylie and that new gal from the comics I will always refuse to discuss that which shall not be named, even if it does' have a decent rule 63 Egon. People need to do some porn of Kate McKinnon

Still waiting on that box set.

Hell, five random episodes on DVD. I'd take it.

Yea it was before they changed Peter up a bit because Bill Murray complained he looked too similar to him, also got a different VA sometime during the show run for same reason.

I'll add one of the only pieces I've seen of her.

Shame she'll likely be drowned out by the foghorns she's been cast next to.

>>

No Trailer and its supposed to be out in July. Heck we still no nothing about the story aside from what the Sony Pitch was and what has been seen on the sets.

>No Firehouse
>Mostly shot in Boston made to look like New York along with some Times Square footage Green Screen on a Airfield. (Which may have all turned to shit since they did then some shooting in New York proper afterwards)
>Ghosts are supposed to be "actually scary" this time according to one of the FX supervisors..yea don't think she knows what she's talking about beyond Slimer.

And According to the Pitch Email Leak
>Government is the one asking them to bust ghosts and keep a lid on it.
>Dude gets power to control ghosts and comes to the city looking for revenge or something.
>Leslie Jones Character has her own encounter with ghosts as a City Worker and that's how she's brought into the operation.
>Their "Secret Base" is next to/inside/under/behind? a Chinese Restaurant.

Should have just been a sequel. Ladies find an old franchise tape call it up get sent a nondescript box of gear with blueprints for a containment unit. People could have really bonded with that (Because that is what many fans want to do themselves)

Remaking a classic (Now on its way to the Library of Congress Film Archive)
is just a bad idea.
>>
>>78327825
you mean was shit
>>
>>78328562
I've been rererereading my TPBs of the IDW comics, and I've noticed a lot of the forewords mention how hard it is to truly capture the essence of a franchise like Ghostbusters.

It's like they knew.
>>
>>78328686

Even the second movie never really captured the essence desu. The first one was magical.
>>
Secretary shows up to work in a bikini.

What do?
>>
>>78328686
It is, its why the other writer prepping the script for the other movie. (The only Feig and his producers get cheesed about when its brought up) Is still working out the Production Bible. And from that one bit back in July that writer seems to know what is needed.

>Its a Sequel
>Its a Mixed Gender Team (Was from the start of his work)
>He's taking lots of notes from the comic runs and compliments them on their work.

That I've got heart can work, this miss lumbering forward towards July, really not any hope. Aside from more art of Kate McKinnon.

>>78328769
Its Janine, ignore her.

And then she got turned into the Kafka Queen.

Final Transformation didn't look too bad though.
>>
>>78329002
She's got kinda a bugeyes thing going on.
>>
>>78326588
The reason for that was that most episodes actually debuted in the afternoon on weekdays, and not on Saturday mornings like most people think they did, so they were able to get away with looser content standards than other kids' cartoons at the time.
>>
I wish there was more art of Chilly in the show style than just that brief shot in the intro.
>>
Egon was cute in this show. I liked his blond hair.
>>
>that episode where they went into a different dimension where ghosts ruled and they were scared of humans

Blew my fucking mind as a kid.
>>
>>78328394
I dunno I mean... maybe it will be good. All it needs are some cool ghosts and monsters fucking shit up. How hard is that.
>>
>>78329105
There were some nice gals back then.
>>
>>78327691
This should've been the script for Ghostbusters 3

At a guess, she's probably the only character played by Cree Summer that doesn't have art on paheal.
>>
>>78330389
They could have used Ray's Occult as a plot set piece, it would have been great.
>>
>>78330389
As far as Aykroyd and Ramis were concerned Ghostbusters the Video Game was/is the third movie. Which I'm perfectly fine with. Feels a hell sight better than Two.

Its a lot like MiB One is Great two is Sub Par and Three is pretty good, not as good as One but a nice cap.
>>
>>78330638
>yet

Anyone else collected the first 3 DVD box sets?
>>

She looks like a young Cree, is she supposed to be a car hop or something?
>>
>>78337625
>is she supposed to be a car hop or something?

Her name is Chilly Cooper.

She is friends with Slimer, who eats a lot.

What could a character named CHILLY Cooper sell, that is a food product, that Slimer would indulge in.

I'll leave you to puzzle that one out on your own.
