How soon til this happens?
With the way the Star Wars comics are topping the charts, and the fact that Marvel is completely out of ideas and goes for cash grabs instead (Civil War 2), how long before Marvel announces a Star Wars/Marvel crossover event that suddenly ties the two franchises together? Who will become jedis? Who will turn to the dark side? And will there be a Twi'Lek on the Avengers?

The Star Wars EU at this point is literally one cartoon and the best-selling Marvel comics. "Marvel people" (Gillen, Aaron) absolutely have input/are part of the team.
Crossovers are highly unlikely from a "there's no reason for that" standpoint, but logistically, it's incredibly easy.
