I remember someone storytimed it over the summer. It was kinda neat and pretty far out. The water dissolved people but then later turned into a jelly you could walk on, then there were huge critters and they rode in a horse drawn wagon. I don't remember much else, I just kinda skimmed it after the first 20 pages or so, it was pretty dense.
What's it about? Do you know if it's published in Brazil? Because sometimes they take waay to long to come here, even if the author is brazilian,

I know nothing about this book, but...could it be like an amoebic sea? As in the biologic components of all the people that were dissolved now form one enormous organism? That was the first thing that came to my mind, and now I'm fascinated by the idea.

I liked it but OP stopped story timing it, I think we were on pt 2. either that or we were near the end of pt 1

Yeah, we got to part 2. IIRC, the part where the party was about to crash into a massive mire fulla monsters. Remember it being pretty good. The protag was a total chick magnet though.
