An average guy dies but, due to Heaven's strict rules, is sent to Hell. Demons have long sense been outnumbered by humans and the fiery pits built over by an ever expanding metropolis.
The show would follow the guy trying to make a new life for himself in hell.
Or if you want an action twist in the same setting
Demons now spend their time hunting down the most evil and vile souls in order to increase their power. The more evil the soul the more powerful. Due to some cosmic mishap the main character gets judged as evil as 8 mega Hitlers. Now he must find away to reverse the judgment with the entire horde of Hell on his tail.

OK, get this, there's a dog right, but the dog is really some guy that was turned into a dog and almost die's living the life of a dog, attacked in back alleys for food by other dogs, almost beaten by teenagers, can't find shelter etc.
Anyway one stormy night this guy that was turned into a dog is walking through a neighborhood when he notices a burglar, he figured he's got nothing to lose so he goes to try and stop the burglar.
This burglar is roaming around the house looking for something to steal when a little girl who lives in the house and loves to stay up late reading ghost stories under her covers, notices the burglar and goes to investigate.
She accidentally makes the burglar aware of her (bumps into lamp or something) and he goes to attack her, but the guy that was turned into a dog goes to try and protect her and succeeds but not before getting shot.
He scares off the burglar and he thinks he's dying, lying there whimpering in pain the last thing he see's is a scared little girls face and her being scooped up by her dad, then he blacks out.
He wakes up in the vet's office and get's adopted by the little girls family and he goes on adventures with her investigating spooky things, or rather things that are spooky to a 9 year old thinking maybe he'll figure out why he's been turned into a dog.
He can't communicate with anyone else or anything else verbally, as far as everyone is concerned he's just a regular old dog. He does self narrate and the audience can hear his thoughts.

closest thing I can think of to compare it to is something like pineapple express, except they aren't stoners. Just the whole "two idiots find themselves in a serious situation for once and have to man up to survive it" thing with comedy thrown in

It's about a man who gets killed but his mind is uploaded to a robot body before fully dying, however something goes wrong and he loses most of his memory. He then joins a robot police force to solve his own murder.

Three coworkers at a marketing company fall into a sinkhole, that goes so far down, that the sunlight from overhead is just a pinhole in the sky above them. After a brief reconnaissance, they discover a free-standing elevator door, with a broken "Up" button. Reasoning that they can press the "Down" button, then press the Ground Floor button inside, they get in, only to discover that elevator begins to rocket up, down, and sideways on its own, while the floor number display slowly climbs up from b1000.
Every few floors, the doors open, and the trio have to navigate some bizarre trial to find the next elevator and keep going. Stuff like a bake-off where the losers are cooked into pies. Every time they succeed, they're "PRRRROMOTED(!)" to the next floor.
A good deal of time is spent in the elevator itself, as the trio resolve their deep-rooted regrets and guilt, and an extremely awkward love triangle.
By the end of the first season, they escape by the skin of their teeth, changed, traumatized and reborn. They step out of a perfectly normal elevator in their office building, having only apparently spent 5 minutes in the elevator. Our POV rockets to another part of the world to see another group trapped in a similar elevator, setting up season 2.
"The Lift" is a tongue-in-cheek take on Dante's comedy, loaded with black humor and ironic punishment. The only reward these people get for their trials is a better understanding of themselves.

They aren't looking for a book to read, more just that you have solid ideas and a market to catch. Being able to sell it to the target age group is more important than how deep the lore is going to be.
Having the experience to run a show is kind of the key they're after more than anything else, it's kind of a six figure plus investment for any studio.

A Vampire who gains powers from Drinking the Blood of Animals Fights a corrupt Branch of High-tech vampire hunters that want to hunt innocent vampires to extiction while also doing battle with the forces of darkness.
The series starts with him having to turn a teenage girl who'd been mauled to near death by a werewolf that he was fighting (vampirism trumps Lycanism in this universe and Werewolves can regenerate by consuming flesh)
By vampire law he has to take her through the trials of becoming a vamp, making her a target for the aforementioned vampire hunters.

Okay, so it's like a kiddie-version of Section 8. It focuses on an unlikely band of heroes with odd superpowers. Our roster includes;
The Mower: A retired janitor who is able to upload himself to the internet like the Lawnmower Man, but he has no idea how to use the internet.
Croque-Monsieur: A Frenchman who has the powers of the Invisible Woman, but his powers only work if he has a cheese and ham sandwich.
Aesthetic: A girl who has the ability to shape-shift, but has done it so much that she has forgotten what she truly looks like.
Alfredo: A Hungarian vegetarian vampire who dislikes violence.
Mr Ink: A former private detective who the ability to manipulate ink.
Smokey: A teenager who can breathe fire, but only if he has a cigarette. He can also do other things with fire, but he hasn't discovered those abilities yet.

A guy, we'll call him Jack, wakes up naked in a desert somewhere with amnesia. The only thing he knows is his name. As he travels the world, it seems like he's known everywhere he goes, but nobody knows anything about him beyond his name and what he did for them in their little town or whatever.
What complicates matters is that Jack of old was a really cool guy, strong, pure of heart, seemingly perfect. New Jack is plagued with insecurities, especially when it comes to comparing himself with his old self. To make matters worse, it seems like whenever Jack comes to town, something bad happens - this is played off as monster of the week initially, but a few episodes in, he begins noticing the pattern, and wondering if there's seriously something wrong going on.
Could work as a lone wolf type piece or with the typical menagerie of friends picked up along the way.

Duck Dodgers, but with Daffy Duck the Wizard. Daffy is an wizard acolyte who gains the powers of an ancient archmage, but lacks control and experience. Other Looney Tunes characters are other fantasy archetypes. Daffy then goes on misadventures, trying to learn how to control his powers and use them to obtain wealth and power and having to fight evil even if he is not paricularly interested in it.
The Daffy Duck the Wizard song is the theme song
